2006-2007 Sponsorship Opportunities

Our Audience
The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is a national organization and a premier provider of marketing and business development resources for the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry sectors. Our organization focuses entirely on promoting and advancing the profession through education, networking and career development. Our membership consists of firm principals, business development executives, marketing directors, managers, coordinators and assistants. SMPS-TC has a database of more than 500 people that frequently make buying decisions for the services you provide. 

Financial Support or In-Kind Contributions
From September through June, SMPS-TC provides monthly educational events as well as a variety of development seminars customized specifically for seasoned and emerging business development and marketing professionals.  In addition to routine costs, SMPS-TC has a variety of expenses for audio/visual and technical needs; printing and mailing expenses; signage design and production needs; and web site and promotional activities. If you or your firm has equipment or expertise in any of these areas, please consider donating your time and/or resources as an alternative to financial sponsorship. We love creative ideas and welcome your thoughts! 

Benefits to Sponsoring
Sponsoring SMPS-TC enhances your company’s visibility to prospective and existing clients. It creates awareness of either highly specialized or vertically integrated services frequently required by design and construction firms. While the A/E/C industry continues to expand and diversify in the Twin Cities, it also remains tight knit relative to promoting preferred vendors. We look forward to the opportunity to partner with you to produce the best opportunities for everyone involved in SMPS.

Sponsorships are available to Business Partners as well as Member Firms. Please see the information below for opportunities that have been identified to date and the great benefits you will receive from participating. 

"Although payments and contributions to the Twin Cities Chapter of SMPS are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, they may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code."
